Lana Del Rey, Janelle Monae Pull Out of Bonnaroo Festival

Lana Del Rey, Janelle Monáe, and King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard have withdrawn from the Bonnaroo festival, organizers revealed on social media. There was no explanation given for the cancellations, but it appears that Del Rey’s album delay (she’d announced that her second album of 2021, “Blue Bannisters,” would be released on July 4th but postponed it the day before) and Janelle Monae’s widely reported appearance in “Knives Out 2” could have played a role.

Ticket touts will face fines of up to €100,000 or up to two years in prison under the new legislation. It will be applicable to cultural, entertainment, and sporting events. Former Prime Minister Leo Varadkar introduced the Sale of Tickets Bill 2020, which has been in the works since 2017.
