Cancellation & Refund Policy

Moving Target Group, LLC is the parent company to Music Industry City. Your billing may reflect Moving Target Group, LLC as the company. The itemized list will reflect Music Industry City, or a shortened version thereof. For the remainder of this document, Music Industry City will be the division referenced.

At Music Industry City, we put do our best to create a platform, content, support, and resources to help you in the music industry. We are confident that you will enjoy what we produce and take your concerns, ideas, and suggestions very seriously. If at any point, you have ideas on how we can improve MIC, please contact us.

In the event you need to cancel your account or request a refund for any purchased services or products please review the following policy. When you sign up for an account or purchase any services you agree to our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and this Cancelation & Refund Policy.

OVERVIEW
Trial Memberships:  At the end of your free trial, you will be automatically upgraded to a paid, recurring monthly plan. You can avoid the upgrade by following the directions below.  You may cancel your subscription at any time. If you do not want to upgrade, you must cancel your subscription before the renewal date. You are responsible for taking this action before your next renewal payment. If you forget to cancel before the renewal date, we offer a 72 hour grace period in which you are eligible for a full refund if the subscription is canceled within 72 hours of the renewal. No refunds will be issued past this 72 hours cut off. 

For monthly memberships: You may cancel your subscription at any time.  If you do not want to renew, you must cancel your subscription before the renewal date. You are responsible for taking this action before your next renewal payment.  If you forget to cancel before the renewal date, we offer a 72 hour grace period in which you are eligible for a full refund if the subscription is canceled within 72 hours of the renewal. 

We do offer a 30-day refund policy on monthly memberships. If after 30 days (your first month), you decide you are not 100% satisfied with what you are receiving through Music Industry City, you may request a full refund for that month. After 30 days, no refunds will be issued, though you may still cancel at any time. The monthly membership has automatic recurring payments. You are responsible for the full subscription fee in the monthly billing cycle in which you cancel. 

For downloadable products & webinars: If you are not 100% satisfied with what you have received, please contact us for a remedy to the situation. Refunds will only be issued in certain situations at the discretion of the Music Industry City staff member. Refunds will not be issued after more than 30 days from the date of purchase of these items.

For Events: Each event may have its own organizer and have its own cancellation policy, please read carefully. Refunds are not available for no-shows to events. In certain cases, the event organizer may offer a deferral in a case-by-case manner. You may review your events from your dashboard.

For Consulting and Coaching Services: Each coach/consultant will have their own refund policy. Please read carefully. If you are not 100% satisfied, please contact the Department of Finance for consideration. 

HOW TO CANCEL
To cancel your subscription, please visit your membership dashboard. This is also located by clicking on the top-right icon. If you do not receive a confirmation, please contact the Department of Finance

If you are unsure whether or not your cancellation processed completely, please contact the Department of Finance. You are responsible for confirming that your membership has been canceled successfully. Refunds will not be issued on continued payments which are a result of an incomplete cancellation.
