Drinking water first thing in the morning can help your body get moving and feel more energized. It’s so important to stay hydrated! One of my favorite rituals is to drink a full glass of water before I eat breakfast because it helps me not overeat, but also feels really good on an empty stomach.
2) Listen to your favorite song or podcast while you get ready for work.
There are a lot of morning routines and getting ready for work is one that I really enjoy. It’s so much easier to be energized when you’re listening to your favorite song or podcast as opposed to the morning news, which can leave you feeling bummed out before you even get going in the morning.
3) Take a cold shower, it will wake you up and make you feel energized all day long!
A morning cold shower is a great way to get energized. It sounds awful, but it actually feels amazing and you’ll be wide awake all day long! You will feel refreshed after a morning cold shower as opposed to waking up in your clammy morning sweat will make you feel so much better about yourself!
4) Exercise for 10 minutes before work or school.
Exercising for just ten minutes before work or school can make a really big difference and get you energized. So don’t skip out on morning yoga, morning run, morning weights – do something that will give you more energy to take on the day!
5) Smile at yourself in the mirror every morning, it’s an easy way to boost your mood and energy levels.
Smiling in the morning can really make a difference, and will get your day going with more positivity. Doing this morning ritual for just 30 seconds before you start your morning routine each day is an easy way to boost your mood and energy levels!
